The Feminine Trilogy
Cacao & Rose – A Heart‑Led Union
Cacao is a sacred plant medicine that has been used for centuries in ritual and ceremony to open the heart, deepen connection, and facilitate healing. In its purest form, cacao is a bridge between the physical and spiritual, allowing us to sit in stillness, feel into our emotions, and journey within. Cacao has been revered by Mayan, Aztec, and Indigenous cultures for thousands of years, often referred to as “The Food of the Gods.” It was used in sacred rituals, offerings, and healing practices, known for its ability to:
🌿 Open the heart and awaken deep emotions
🌿 Create clarity, insight, and spiritual connection
🌿 Enhance creativity and self-expression
🌿Facilitate emotional release and inner balance
Unlike processed chocolate, ceremonial-grade cacao is pure, unprocessed, and rich in theobromine, a gentle heart-opening compound that increases blood flow, enhances mood, and creates a state of loving awareness. When consumed with intention, cacao allows us to drop out of the thinking mind and into the wisdom of the heart.
The original roses, before human cultivation, had only five petals. This mirrors the five-petaled pattern created by the planet Venus in the sky from Earth's perspective. The rose has a deep connection to the ancient priestess lineages of present-day Egypt, Israel and Palestine, including goddesses and figures such as Isis, Sekhmet, Hathor, Mother Mary, Mary Magdalene and Inanna. The Rose has been a sacred symbol in their spiritual teachings, reminding us of the energy of the divine feminine: beauty and strength. The spiritual meaning of the rose touches on themes of growth, nourishment, boundaries, creativity, leadership, and rebirth. As we walk the sacred Priestess path, the rose serves as a symbol and metaphor to our own journey of becoming, offering wisdom and beauty at every stage of life. Drinking beverages infused with rose (such as rose tea or diluted rose water) primarily affects the body by promoting, relaxation, aiding digestion, and boosting antioxidant intake. Known for its calming, anti-inflammatory properties, consuming rose can help reduce stress, soothe menstrual discomfort, and support skin health from the inside out.
This blend of Cacao and Rose is grounding and expansive at the same time. It invites you into the body while gently lifting the emotional field.
Cacao brings warmth and presence, anchoring awareness into the heart and body. Rose moves through this warmth like a breath of grace, encouraging emotional clarity, compassion, and subtle joy.
This is a drink for ritual mornings, creative flow, self‑connection, or moments when the heart asks to be heard.

Blue Lotus – The Flower of Light Awareness
Blue Lotus (Nymphaea caerulea) has long been associated with meditation, dream states, sensual presence, and gentle euphoria.
The Blue Lotus, known botanically as Nymphaea caerulea, and poetically as the Flower of the Nile, is more than a plant. She is a temple in bloom. Revered in Kemet (ancient Egypt), graced in the sacred medicines of the East, and reborn in today’s circles of spiritual remembrance, the blue lotus flower remains a fragrant doorway to mystery, beauty, and divine inner sight.
Unlike stimulants, Blue Lotus does not push. It opens. Awareness becomes softer, wider, more luminous. Thoughts slow. Sensation deepens. The inner world becomes more accessible without losing grounding.
This tea is often chosen for evening rituals, meditation, creative visioning, or intimate self‑reflection.

Effects – Experienced Together
When Cacao & Rose and Blue Lotus are worked with intentionally (either separately or on different occasions), a gentle progression can be felt:
Opening of the heart and emotional field
Increased body awareness and sensual presence
Soft expansion of perception
Calm clarity rather than intensity
This is not escapism. It is inhabiting yourself more fully.
Cacao. Rose. Blue Lotus.
Invocation — The Plant Trilogy
We are Cacao, Rose and Blue Lotus.
Roots, heart and crown.
We gather as one to open what has been waiting.
To soften what has been held.
To remember what has never been lost.
We carry ancestral songs —
of warmth, of love, of quiet knowing.
We invite you to listen with the whole of your being.
Drink. Breathe. Receive.
Let the heart open gently.
Let the inner temple glow.
We are the threshold.
We are the remembering.
We welcome you home.
Three plants, three expressions of the feminine:
Cacao – the heart opener, the womb of warmth, the great rememberer.
Rose – the soft boundary, the lover, the teacher of self‑worth and tenderness.
Blue Lotus – the dreamer, the moon‑flower, the bridge between worlds.
Together they form a trilogy of embodiment, devotion, and awareness.

Teach me how to soften into light.— Blue Lotus
Contraindications & Gentle Considerations
Please enjoy these plant allies with presence and self-listening. Everyone’s body responds differently, and starting slowly is always encouraged.
Remember the Cacao & Rose are served separately to the Blue Lotus. You are always welcome to have small amounts or choose not to drink and receive the space as it is with Yoga, Pranayama, Visualisation, Sound and Altar to guide you.
Cacao
Naturally contains theobromine, a mild stimulant. If you are sensitive to stimulants or taking antidepressant medication, cacao can often still be enjoyed in very low, gentle doses. Avoid if you are taking MAOIs (antidepressant medication) and haven’t consulted a doctor or have serious heart conditions.
Rose
Rose is generally very soft and well tolerated. Please avoid if you have a known allergy to rose or related plants.
Blue Lotus
The medicine of the blue lotus can be found in the psychoactive alkaloids, notably apomorphine and nuciferine, which gently stimulate dopamine receptors, bringing a euphoric calm, introspection, and a sensation of timeless beauty.
Blue Lotus is mildly psychoactive (we have to say this but is gentle and beautiful) and may feel relaxing and is a sedative (really instilling states of openness and peace). Avoid combining with alcohol or strong sedative. No concrete evidence but generally not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
If you have any health concerns, are unsure about interactions, or would like guidance, you are warmly invited to contact me directly — I’m always happy to answer questions and support you in choosing what feels right.
Begin with small amounts, drink slowly, and let your body guide you.
