One to One Tuition

Often in Fays yoga classes it can be too busy and fast paced to give detailed feedback to individuals.

One to one yoga sessions are designed to bring in that unique direction for your specific needs in your yoga practice.

Fay will look at core principles of alignment, (the foundations for all poses) that are integral to a safe, healthy yoga practice within your postures.

These sessions will give you support to enhance your yoga practice and understanding with how your yoga practice can help you.

Also this will be an opportunity to have a beautiful one to one attention yoga session. Fay is qualified in Thai yoga massage and brings elements of this into the session when adjusting you.

What to expect ?

Fay will start the session with a short discussion to find out what you would like to gain from the sessions. This can be anything from a quality (softening) to (I would like to become a teacher). Simplistically this session is tailed to you; giving you freedom to see what comes up along the way. Expect a physical practice to follow with hands on adjustments to help align the body and help you rest; props may be used and restorative yoga postures. There may be points Fay thinks to pause, discuss and reflect in the practice. Fay will give you a sound bath to close the session.

This is is open to any age, level or ability. You will acquire skills and methods through practice that help you shift orientation, feeling and perspective that you can incorporate into your life off the mat. Fay-Anne embraces the old tradition and lineage of yoga. She does her best to honour the yoga text while creatively modernising where appropriate to make it revelivant for the current day.
