Event Description

Join Sarah Harlow and Fay Rosamond for a nourishing evening of Rose & Cacao Gathering, held within the shared frameworks of Movement Medicine and Movement Alchemy—a contemporary embodied movement practice that invites authentic expression, deep presence, and relational awareness.

Together we will create a beautiful ceremonial space centred around a rose, water and crystal altar, honouring the wisdom of nature, the heart, and our connection with the living world.

The evening will be gently woven together through guided meditation, ceremonial cacao, sound, mantra, and embodied movement practices. Participants will be invited into an exploration of presence, vibrational awareness, and conscious relationship through solo, partner, and group movement experiences.

This ceremony offers an opportunity to slow down, reconnect with yourself and others, and discover the beauty that emerges through embodied presence, compassionate witnessing, and creative exploration.

No previous movement experience is required—only a willingness to arrive as you are.

Further details, timings, and booking information will be announced soon.

Across many contemplative traditions, beauty is understood as more than something we observe. It is a living presence that softens us, awakens the heart and reminds us of our belonging within life itself.

This gathering is inspired by that understanding.

Within the Indian wisdom tradition, Tripura Sundarī—often translated as The Beauty of the Three Worlds—embodies beauty not as ornament or perfection, but as the radiant consciousness that pervades all creation. She reminds us that beauty is something we participate in, something we remember, rather than something we possess.

The Rose carries a similar teaching.

It opens without striving. It reveals itself petal by petal. It offers its fragrance simply through its nature. Across mystical traditions, the Rose has become a symbol of the awakened heart, inviting tenderness, courage, devotion and the gentle unfolding of consciousness.

This gathering is an invitation to enter that same field through ceremonial cacao, meditation, mantra, sound and embodied dance.

Our dance practice weaves together contemporary movement, structured improvisation and embodied therapeutic approaches, creating a spacious environment in which movement becomes a language of presence rather than performance. Beginning with simple forms and guided exploration, we gradually soften into greater freedom, allowing the body to remember its own innate rhythm and intelligence.

Rather than asking How should I dance?, we begin to ask, What is already dancing within me?

From this place, movement becomes a conversation with breath, sensation, one another, and the living presence of the Rose itself.
